What information we collect
We do not collect personal information directly, as this site does not have comments, forms, or user accounts enabled. This website is hosted on GoDaddy using WordPress, with the plug-ins Elementor (for usability and design), Yoast SEO (to optimize appearance in search results), TranslatePress (to make content available in multiple languages), and Cookie Notice for GDPR & CCPA (to protect your personal privacy preferences). These tools use only essential cookies to allow website functionality, and do not collect or store personal information about users.
We also use the Monster Analytics plug-in as an interface for Google Analytics. These analytics are not used to obtain personal information about users, but rather to better understand on an aggregated level how users are finding our site, which parts of the site are getting the most attention, and which parts of the site may be frustrating or unhelpful to users. We use this information to improve the functionality and usefulness of the website structure and content. Monster Analytics is set by default to anonymize IP addresses, store data for no longer than 14 months, and minimize the data collected. It integrates fully with the Cookie Notice for GDPR & CCPA plug-in to ensure users can opt-out of this service.
While normally all content is hosted locally, occasionally we share, with permission from the content creators, projects and inspiration from other practitioners and clients. These articles may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
